Turkish Shave Part 2

I had my first Turkish shave earlier this summer, and I am stunned why I hadn't had one before. If you haven't tried it, go on treat yourself, it's so worthwhile.

Anyway on the latest trip, I really wanted to enjoy the experience again. I had my first shave a couple of days into the holiday, and I combined it with a haircut. I felt so clean and tidy with freshly chopped hair and a soft smooth skin. It was raining outside, and as I set off in the downpour, the water on my head and running down my cheeks felt so sensuous. It was like having a massge in the rain.

I started to walk fast and then run. I was passing another barber, who stopped me and offered me a haircut or a shave. Obviously I wasn't in the market for one, but I did stop for a chat. He wanted some business so offered me a body massage, and to be honest, so early in the holiday, I was keen to have something to help me unwind. It wasn't anything memorable, but it helped pass the time till it stopped raining. He seemed a friendly guy, and I promised to go back for a shave next time.

So I set off in the pouring rain, looking forward to my next shave.
